Description

Emergency SOS:

Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) can use a cellular connection for Emergency SOS. However, if the iPhone isn’t nearby, the Apple Watch needs to be connected to a known Wi-Fi network, and Wi-Fi Calling must be set up.

International Emergency Calling:

The international emergency calling feature requires an Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) model. Supported countries and regions can be found on apple.com/watchos/feature-availability.

Family Setup:

Not all features will be available if the Apple Watch is set up through Family Setup. A wireless service plan is required for cellular service.

Battery Life:

Battery life varies by use, cellular coverage, configuration, and other factors. Apple conducted All-Day Battery Life testing in August 2020 using preproduction Apple Watch SE (GPS) and Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) models paired with iPhones.

Network Connection:

Connection may vary based on network availability. International roaming is not supported. Participating wireless carriers and eligibility can be checked on apple.com/watch/cellular.

Environmental Standards:

The Apple Watch SE meets California Energy Commission’s Energy Efficiency Standards for Small Battery Charger Systems. It also adheres to responsible sourcing practices, with 100% of virgin wood fiber coming from responsibly managed forests and 90% or more of the packaging being fiber-based.

Substance Restrictions:

Apple products adhere to restrictions on harmful substances, with exceptions mentioned for certain regions regarding PVC and phthalates in AC power cords.

Compatibility:

Apple Watch requires an iPhone 6s or later with the latest iOS version for compatibility.
